We are a team of experienced web developers based in Sweden providing state of the art Web Based Software. Since year 2003 we’ve developed a certain number of web based software most of which are being used in production by companies worldwide.
We started to develop basic (HTML/CSS) websites back in 2000. After about two years, our customers started to ask for websites that allow them to manipulate the content right there, on the website, without having to use any kind of special editors or such. We had to dig deeper and find out how websites with dynamic content work and how they’re being developed. Although this involved a lot of foggy work at the beginning, it started to clear up after a few months and we were able to develop our very first web based application. The database was MySQL and we used PHP to pull the data out of it. The MySQL database and the PHP combined with the HTML/CSS we already knew at that point resulted in our first – quite basic – CMS (content management system). We were very excited to see the results and simply couldn’t stop there. We just got deeper and deeper and continuously researched ways to improve our web based applications development knowledge.
We got a pretty good web developer team reputation in a relatively short period of time so, in 2003 one of our customers recommended us to a restaurant that was looking for a web based Restaurant POS and inventory management solution. The main strengths of the web based application required by our new customer were:
- It should be idiot proof — these were the actual words used
- It should be very accurate
- Instead of tons of rings and bells, it should have real features
After four months from our first meeting with the restaurant owner we’ve installed the very first, fully featured, Web Based Restaurant POS and inventory management software. It even had a PDA module which allowed the waiters to place the orders from WiFi PDAs. The orders were automatically printed in the kitchen/bar depending on the ordered product. The application was further developed during the next years and is still used by close to one hundred restaurants. It is the only fully functional web based restaurant POS and inventory management software as far as we know.
During the years we’ve been working on the above mentioned web based software we got a good grasp of how inventory works and what are the common mistakes, problems and solutions. In 2007 we have decided to build a Web Based Inventory Software that would be suitable for individual stores and store chains as well as for warehouses. We already had more than the basics in both, writing code and inventory knowledge so we thought we should take advantage of this fact. After one year of hard work, the result was the web based inventory software we launched back in 2008 and continuously improved over time.
Since 2006 we had several requests to develop various custom web based applications as well as customize popular open source frameworks such as WordPress and Joomla. We can confidently say that, as long as it’s built in PHP/MySQL/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX we can customize it regardless of its label. At the end of the day, they all drill down to the same technology and programming languages mentioned above.
